March 31, 2026 TAMPA (Bloom) – Just about anyone can be a foster parent if they have it in their heart. Amber Freeman, host of Bloom, sat down with Foster and Adoption Parent, Nichole Perez, and Foster Parent, Melissa Duclos, to discuss what a typical day as a foster parent looks like and advice for someone considering taking on this role.

Amber asked the parents what do they say to people thinking about becoming a foster parent. “It’s a hard journey. It’s a rewarding journey,” says Nichole. “Just say yes!” says Melissa.
